MSc Pranav Dew Singh

MSc Pranav Dew Singh

I am an environmental engineer and researcher with an MSc focusing on water engineering and specifically on ecological engineering and nature-based solutions. As a Ph.D. scholar at the University of Agriculture in Krakow, My Ph.D. project is examining the effect of applied reclamation technology and various types of vegetation cover on the water retention potential in the novel ecosystems emerging in spoil heaps after hard coal mining. I am also interested in optimum ways to integrate nature-based solutions into the circular water economy of India. My expertise is in the field of ecological engineering, i.e., the design of sustainable decentralized water management systems, namely nature-based solutions such as constructed wetlands.
